My long time friend booked this hotel for our trip to NC. Room was mediocre. I have stayed at extended stay hotels before and this one definitely doesn't meet the "extended stay hotels". It was like a 200 sq ft (or less) room with a kitchen in a little corner (no hand towels, mini fridge, no utensils). It didn't have a dinning area or a couch to sit on. Room was old, sheets were alright. Hardly any outlets to plug electronics.

Worst part is, in order for them to clean the room just for maintenance of fixing the bed or getting new towels after 3 days you would have to pay extra. I had to stop by the front desk to get new towels and was told I had to bring the old towels back, they wouldnt stop by the room to get them. They also accused us of having had an iron in the room that we never returned... we didnt even have an ironing board to iron!!! Apparently, they didnt check this with the prior resident so they're blaming us for it.

My husband and I stayed for two nights when we were in town for a wedding. The room was okay, everything a little dated and the bed was way too soft (but that is my opinion). The carpet and bed sheets need replacement, the towels were fine. The bathroom looked newly renovated, a fact that really cheered me up when I looked through the room the first time - until I found the worn thong behind the door. So I guess cleaning needs improvement!

The other guests staying in the hotel were a little creepy, most of them sitting in their rooms on the beds watching tv with the doors open looking at you when you walk by (?!?).

So, all in all, it is okay if you need to stay in this exact area of the city and do not want to spend more than 50 USD/night because you spent too much on pricey VA B&Bs during the week before. If one of the points above does not apply, I would not recommend it. I am surprised that it gets quite okay reviews here...

We only stayed for a few nights but would stay again if visiting the area. The reception staff were very helpful, efficient service and very welcoming. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the facilities were all functional. The location of the hotel was great as it was close to the freeway and other amenities but not too close so it was nice and quiet. We would recommend this hotel to other travellers looking for a decent hotel to stay in whilst in the Charlotte area.

I was in the Charlotte area for a few months and stayed at a couple of the extended stay hotels.This was the best of the bunch. The staff was very professional. It seemed to be in a safe area. I parked in the back and the parking lot was very well lit. A short walking distance to Chinese,Spanish,Indian and European grocery shops.Only con was the room was a little small but not bad.
