If you look at the website the rooms are beautifully color-coordinated, bright and clean; when you walk in the room it's a different story. I reserved a room based on the nice pictures, continental breakfast, close proximity to the Charlotte conventon center, and the great deal on Priceline.
The room was nothing like the pictures, the access doors to the outside were all unlocked where anyone on the street can walk in, the staircases were slept or urinated in, the continental breakfast was a selection from three varities of Hostess mini donuts, bagels and english muffins - not a fruit in sight. Yumm. The printer was broken so no boarding passes here.
There was a bust at the restaurant out front with 13 plain clothed policemen with bullet proof vests over their clothes when we got in Saturday night. One of them told us not to open the door if someone knocks because "they're looking for hoes or crack". We went in the restaurant anyway, I slipped on a wet surface and almost tore my ACL while taking a busboy out (while falling, that is).
Not to mention I reserved a double queen and got a king - smoking. We slept four in the bed with the sliding door to the second floor balcony open for air. I heard a car alarm go off and gunshots in the middle of the night. I layed awake with one eye on the door to the room, and the other on the balcony door. Holy crap!
You probably won't print this but, no, I don't recommend this motel.
