Booked thru Expedia for 3 nights. Chose this hotel for location (more or less between the Renaissance Festival near Huntersville & Uptown Charlotte) and the positive reviews. I don't want to repeat all the details from other reviews. The breakfast & evening happy hour snacks made it affordable. The room & bathroom were clean. Beds & pillows (3 per bed) are comfortable. Big screen flat panel TV (I guess all hotels/motels have them now- but maybe not). Clock radio. Set your wake-up call with the phone. Up to 1 hour of free long-distance phone calls per night, so no excuse not to call home. The staff were friendly & helpful. The lobby was impressive. We thought Drury might have taken over a fancier hotel and we were wrong. I hope this chain expands, since I don't often travel where they are located.

We just spent the weekend in Charlotte. We really like the Drury Inns because they are always clean and with the evening happy hour and breakfast it is a wonderful deal. We were not disappointed. This hotel is conveniently located on WT Harris Blvd. right off Rt 85 and not far from Rt 77. There are so many restaurants and bars in the area.

The service was great. They did a great job refilling the breakfast and cleaning the tables for the next guests.

The rooms are standard rooms, but very clean.

We booked our stay at the Drury via Hotwire. The hotel was comfortable and in a great location. The food and beverage service was great as was the pool area.
The only unfortuante situation we encountered on our stay was that the power went out due to a storm. The management team actively informed guests and made accomodations as needed and were very gracious. We would recommend this hotel and a stay here.

I had to stay here because power was out at my house. The hotel is kind of disarmingly interesting. The check-in was efficient and no frills. I showed my license and my reservation was confirmed. I was on my way in 1 minute. The bathroom is a little small - you practically have 2 to 3 feet of space inside the door. You sit down on the commode or step into the tub.The sink and mirror is outside the bathroom. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast - which will get the job done. It is not fancy but you have enough stuff to get a picky eater going.There is a TGIF(next door) , Chili and a couple of other restaurants within minutes of walking. One interesting note - you cannot get into the hotel lobby at night without the attendant letting you in unless you have a key. When I come next time i want to take a look at the free hot food from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. All in all it seems like a good value.
