The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Do wish there would have been double sinks in the bathroom, though. There was an issue with housekeeping as they were very noisy. The vacuum sweeper they used (at least on our floor) was very noisy and the housekeeping staff was working until 7:00 p.m., which is kind of unusual. Also, we think there must have been an overseer who must have been checking each room and as he/she looked in each room, slaaaammmed each door behind them -- all the way down the hallway. We were glad we weren't trying to rest during that time! And...it might be good if the buffet container lids had a shot of WD40 on the hinges. As we were sitting there having breakfast, everytime someone opened the container for eggs or sausage, the hing creaked loudly.

This hotel has nice and clean rooms. Warm atmosphere. Relatively good location - 25 minutes to uptown on foot. Complimentary airport shuttle and shuttle ("Golder Rush") to uptown Charlotte as well. Great service. Very comfortable bed! Big TV screen Room, that I had, was also equipped with a coffee maker.

I am a frequent guest to this hotel as I get to work very near to its location.

The hotel is convenient with a very large parking- which is a boon as one would necessarily travel in the evening hunting for food and restaurants.
The staff is very friendly and the lady cook throws out some yummy omlettes (to be eaten to be believed).

The rooms can improve and the cleanliness is average.
The location is away from the business center but than it is plus as well as it makes the hotel quieter in the evenings.

I would continue to stay here in future as well.

My family and I recently went down for the weekend. Thinking we were getting a nice place in downtown Charlotte we booked two rooms for our group for the weekend. The rooms were no disappointment with super nice pillows but the location was since we thought we were in the middle of downtown. The staff was super friendly helping us get a cab to downtown and recommending a place that would deliver pizza at 1am. However, being the last of my group to arrive the person at the the front desk didn't seem pleased when we had forgot things in the car and had to come back in twice and asked us what floor we were staying on. We were in no means being loud but I'm assuming he guessed we were much younger than we actually were and may be causing trouble. A big disappointment was having to pay for internet, being a student and having to submit online homework during the trip this was a big inconvenience. With the price of the room they could really supply this for free. All in all it was a great experience but if we ever go back we will stay elsewhere.
