Hotel was completed in June or July of 1989 according to the elevator certificate. You can tell is has some age on it. While the rooms were remolded they only did what I consider a slight remodel of the bathroom. They seem to have added a new vanity but the tub/shower was orginal and terribly dated as was the wallpaper. The bathroom just had an old 1989 feel to it (minus the granite vanity). The entry door as well as the bathroom door had many, many layers of paint on it and looked dated. Further, I booked a double thinking the room would be slightly larger but was mistaken. Felt the room was smaller that I expected. Moreover, the room was clean (although the shower/tub was so old and was clean it just seemed dirty b/c it had random marks on it that simply come with age and are probably there to stay). The staff was friendly and the location is practical. There is an O'Charley's in front of the property and a Lucky 32 nearby. Fitness room is nice with a fair amount of room. In brief, I had never stayed at this property and felt like it should have been nicer. Can't fully put my finger on it but it just felt dated.
