I needed an extended stay and expected more from this chain. I originally booked a room at the Extended Stay America (2 doors away), but was unhappy with the lack of amenities, such as only 37 channels (5 ESPN), extremely loud bathroom fan, poor WiFi, and tight quarters. I moved to the Extended Stay Deluxe because it offered basic cable with HBO (73 channels), a full kitchen, sofa bed, pool, etc. To my surprise, upon moving in, I noticed how filthy and greasy the top of my refrigerator was. This is where I wanted to put my cereal boxes since there was very little cabinet space. The front desk clerk refused to have someone clean it and offered to move my room to the 2nd floor (I requested the first floor). I offered to clean it but she refused to give me any cleaning product until the whole thing escalated to calling the MOD at home. They gave me glass cleaner to scrub the filthy grease. UGH! Two weeks later, even this, their DELUXE brand, reduced the number of TV channels to the same package as the down graded Extended Stay America (37 channels (5 ESPN). Maid service cost $10 per occurrence. This service was very poor, at best. I was frustrated after entering my room with a guest to find it still dirty. Even with a redo after I complained to the front desk, the job was still less than adequate. The WiFi is still terrible even after I went to Circuit City and bought the most powerful antenna available.
If you don't mind lack of cleanliness and less than basic cable, you might be ok with this place.
