The Staff at the Embassy Suites Cary is really great. The Hotel shuttle picks you up at the airport and everyone you meet is there to help you. They have free laundry facilities (two washers and dryers) on the 5th floor and Cary transport ($1) across the street. Lakbir (sp?) the bellman is really excellent!

My husband brought the family (me and our two children) along for training he attended at this hotel. We stayed one night in a standard one-bedroom suite. Check in was seamless, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was quiet in the evening. We put our two-year-old on the sofa bed in the living area and our infant in a pack-n-play also in the living area. Everyone slept perfectly and there was still room to move around even with their beds set up. Breakfast was also quite nice. There was a huge spread and plenty of space to sit down and enjoy your meal. We were very pleased with our overall stay.

We stayed a second night in town, but switched hotels, only because we found something comparable in size for a better rate (for us).

Check in was immediate. There were several people checking in, but there was plenty of staff to get everyone taken care of immediatley. The bed and bedding seemed updated, the carpet was clean and soft, the bathroom was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels. The evening reception was pleasant with free drinks and light snacks. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. My only complaint was that this was a very short stay (only one night) and I could not make use of the pool and sauna which I remember as being super relaxing. We also could not make use of the restaurant which, in the past, was exceptional.

I've stayed at the Embassy Suites many times over the years. I am happy that they have updated the bedding covers in the rooms which gives it a fresher look and feel. They have made some changes in the bathroom as well. It appeared there were new shower stalls and wall paper. Since I don't use the living suite area, it is still very serviceable as is. The morning meals are just great and offer a wide selection of breakfast choices. Great staff. Overall great visit there this last week.
