I frankly don't understand the several poor reviews...We visit my wife's relatives every year and this is by far the best location we have found in Apex-Cary. There are nice walking trains nearby, and several good eateries a short walk away. We have stayed here for several week-long visits and have never been disappointed.

We've had good experiences with the front desk staff, including a rather large woman on duty in the evening whom we found to be competent and helpful, recent comments to the contrary notwithstanding. Perhaps it was a different person. We seldom eat the complimentary meals, but the few breakfasts we have had are ample and good.

Bedbugs???? After reading the review we ransacked our bed and could find no sign of the critters. If there was a problem, it has been addressed, at least in our room. About the only negative thing I can say about the rooms is that the rug in our latest suite is older and somewhat stained.

I usually don't check trip advisor if I know the hotel...I did check this time and was ready to
relocate in a heartbeat if the quality had slipped. Tonight will be our sixth night here, and we are more than satisfied.

Very friendly people, good breakfast every day and good dinners from Mon-Thurs. free! The staff are very helpful... even print out directions to your chosen destination. Room are very spacious and very clean. It was a very good stay and centrally located to the Raleigh, Cary, and Durham areas.

This was my first stay at Homewood Suites. I travel a bit for work and tend to gravitate towards accommodations that provide the extras (breakfast, parking, internet) without charging me the extra fees. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was extremely welcoming and even checked in on me shortly after my arrival to make sure everything was ok. The room with a king size bed was on the smaller size but the bed was comfy and that did a good job with the confined space. I was a little skeptical about being on the ground floor but the noise level was pretty minimal and who wouldn't love waking up to the smell of bacon engulfing the hallway. The food at breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had (and that includes hotel like the W and Westin). The food crew was so friendly and I look forward to coming back to this hotel.

The rooms are nice. Make sure to avoid the larger lady that works on the morning shift. She had her cell phone ringing in het pocket during breakfast and was extremely rude. Personally I would not come back here.
