The for sale sign in the front yard should have been a clue. We've stayed in B & B's all over the world, but this was just a house where someone decided to rent rooms. It was clean, but rundown. In order to register, we walked through the laundry room to the kitchen. Upgrades had been made to the house, but they were poorly done, e.g., the large sink console in the bathroom. The $169 price was deceptive. This is definitely low end. If we had paid $88, we would not have been surprised at what we found.

I only spent one night there but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room was very clean and comfortable and the beach is within short walking distance. Noah and Charlotte were very welcoming and breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend Beacon House if you are close to Carolina Beach.

we will go back!! It was neat and clean and we just felt like we were at home!!! The inn keepers were awesome and the breakfast was out of this world!! Next time we may take the family. Its one of the best bb we have been too!!! Thanks guys!

My best friend and I spent this past weekend at The Beacon House for our first annual Girlfriend Getaway. Noah and Charlotte left NO detail unnoticed; from the gift basket in our room filled with chocolate, magazines, movies we requested, and soda, to the girft certificate waiting for us at the restaurant that we chose, and the massages that were wonderful!! Charlotte"s breakfasts were amazing and the overall experience was more than we could have ever expected! we will definately be repeating this weekend next year and I CAN'T wait!
