Motel was right on the beach but unless you had a second floor room on the back of the motel you did not see the beach. Rooms were tiny and badly in need of a cleaning. Mattresses were hard and there was a light outside every room that you could not get away from at night while you were trying to sleep. Motel also felt more like apartments than a motel. Seemed like you were almost an outsider if you were there for a night or two. Our tv remote did not work and the TV looked as if it had been thrown because the housing was cracked. Positives..on the beach and the price..

We be booked a last minute trip to the beach and called around. the Dolphin had the least expensive rates and open availability. The staff was very friendly and accomodating when making our reservations. However, upon arrival we found it to be dirty and out of date. The parking lot was crowded and badly laid out. The rooms were exceptionally dirty. Walking around barefoot inside my feet were dirtier than walking out doors. The carpets were filthy and full of sand. The tile floors had unidentified "black stuff" on them. The rooms are non-smoking however the maid staff clean (and I use that term loosely) with lit cigarettes hanging out of their mouths. It actually was sad as the location and potential is there. The pool is "cozy" and easily can feel overcrowded with even a small group.

We rented the 1 bd duplex so we wouldn't have to rent so many rooms (we had 4 adults and 3 children). The bathroom was dirty with a used bar of soap in the shower. I had to clean it because they didn't send anyone until the next afternoon. Then our car was blocked in and I told the night manager this, he told me to park somewhere else and block someone else in. When I left the office, he chased me across the street yelling at me and then threatened to make us leave (I would have left if it wasn't for my mother-in-law being asleep). The owner didn't even care, that was the sad part. All I can say is get multiple rooms somewhere else. The only good thing about this was it is close to the beach.

hotel was a joke. place was nasty,our room did not even have a chair in it. went to front desk they told me rooms with a chair are $89.00 only good thing was i was refunded.
