We had joining rooms and a party of 8. The staff was excellent, rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean, layout of motel was great. We never heard a noise from any other guests. They have a nice size pool and picinic area with grills.
All the children in our group were 6-18 so the layout was perfect for our group. There are 2 doors on each room (one to the parking lot if you are downstairs, and one to a patio with rocking chairs!). The view was nice considering you are in a hotel in the city. There is a sagebrush resturant in front of the hotel which is convinent if you feel like paying for poor service.
The hotel is right off of 40 and the drive way is a little hidden, it feels like your turning into sagebrush parking lot. The hotel is convinent to the city of Canton and just enough distances from the paper mill that you don't smell the foul odor.
I will absolutely stay in this hotel again. The price is right, the location is great, views are pretty, and I love the rocking chairs. We are planning our summer visit by the pool and grilling out.
I was a little hesitant to stay here b/c of the reviews others have posted however I am so thankful we choose this over comfort inn. The location is much more relaxing.
Incase you are wondering... breakfast was not as great as some hotels but fine for our 6 kids. There were sausage patties, egg patties, biscuits, (sausage & egg biscuit), 3 cold cereal choices, oatmeal, grits, Waffle iron to make your own waffles (big seller with out group), muffins, danishes, coffee, hot tea, apple juice, orange juice, milk, and apples for fruit. The area is small but again accomediated our large group.
Hotel staff was very nice and willing to help with each of our requests.
