I stayed for one week this past March at the Fox and Fiddle. My first impression- walking into the front door with a warm fire burning and the family in the living room playing celtic music was a huge change from the bed and breakfast environment I've experienced in the past. The family was very polite and the environment felt like my home when I was younger.
The Library & Loch Lomond Room were both nice rooms. Clean & Cozy! There was only one bathroom to share which was okay but not the private experience you may want when staying at a bed and breakfast.
It was a great place to relax - reading, admiring their garden, chickens, and the creek were all very fun. I'd sit on the huge porch relaxing in the warm sun.
If I were to want to stay near Asheville for a period of time again I would consider staying here for another trip.
Note- I didn't experience any problem with mold or thought it existed like earlier post stated. But it is an old farmhouse…. that has not been renovated to much from it's original state.
