I came to Clear Creek for a girls' weekend. I had such a great time. Horseback riding was great. The service from everyone was friendly and helpful when needed. I can't wait to go back!!!

We just came back from a girls weekend at Clear Creek Ranch! We were there from 9/30 to 10/2. The trip was amazing. The entire place had stunning views of Mt Mitchell. The food was served family style and was very good! It was so nice to meet other people who were also staying at the ranch and get to know the workers. There were several rides a day and the horses were very well trained. We were lucky enough to be paired with Scott, one of the head wranglers. He was very patient to work with our varied riding levels and personalities! Also, I am sure it has been mentioned your cell will not work and there is no TV's in the cabins. I was worried about this at first, but it turned out great. We were rarely in our rooms and it was nice to really leave work at home for a weekend. Overall it was a great trip and I would recommend this place for anyone.

The views are breathtaking! The wrangler's are awesome! The food was fantastic just like my grandma's!!! When you leave you feel like you are leaving family behind! It's a great trip for family's or a girls weekend! I will def be back! Btw..no tv or phones in your room, no cell service..it's truely a getaway, and maybe realized how rediculous our hectic lives can be!!

I just went with 3 girlfriends to CCR and it was the most relaxing girls weekend I've had in a very long time. Aileen and Rex are the most hospitable couple I've ever met and the ranch staff really feel like a big family and made us feel part of the family. You can really tell that everyone on the ranch takes such pride in the ranch and making everyone feel comfortable. The meals were fantastic and the riding was so much fun. The horses and ranch dogs were so sweet and there wasn't a dull moment. Riding in the morning and afternoon. Hiking to the 30 foot waterfall. Line dancing at night. We are definitely planning to go back for girls weekends in the Spring and Fall.
