We recently visited Bryson City and needed an economical place to stay. We found this hotel to be clean, quiet, and complimented by a friendly staff. Our bed was extremely comfortable, and breakfast was good too. The rooms were not huge, so I wouldn't recommend the place if you planned to spend a huge amount of your day inside, but otherwise I think you'll find the hotel a great value as you visit this section of the mountains.

This hotel is close to everything we wanted to do including the train ride. It is a short walk to downtown and to various restaurants. The staff was always happy and inviting whenever we left and returned for our four night stay.
The rooms are a bit small, but we didn't go to stay in the room. We went to enjoy the fall foliage. Rooms were clean and quite honestly that means more than the size to me. And yes, there is no elevator but I'm sure if we needed assistance with luggage the staff would have been happy to help.
We will certainly return! :)

WARNING!--WATCH OUT!!
If you have luggage or can't climb stairs, you are on your own!!!! There is NO ELEVATOR to their upper floor and they don't tell you when you make you reservation!!!!! Very SMALL ROOMS! This Sleep Inn was built on the cheap!
