A beautiful bed and breakfast-so close to the National Park you can walk if you like to the first trail up to a nice waterfall. Breakfast was wonderful, we enjoyed the croissant and quiche day one and the french toast with a delicious fruit salad, eggs and bacon day two. The property is close to town so only a few minutes in your vehicle to check out the trains and have a nice dinner in Bryson City. The rooms were amazing-we chose the downstairs rooms-since we are not very tall, the rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, keep in mind this is a vintage house so don't expect the downstairs to be like the upper levels (we loved the privacy and our own downstairs entrance way), with the windows open letting in the fresh cool air we slept so well. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful with good advice and we even ordered bag lunches to take with us when we departed (very good) We hope to visit again, maybe next year to enjoy the cool crisp air and the changing leaves. Thanks to Folkestone Inn for a wonderful time! The Balboni's
