We were astounded at the great service we received at this motel. We had a very late night arrival and were greeted in the parking lot by one of the owners who helped us get parked and welcomed us to their hotel. During our stay we enjoyed relaxing both on the patio and by the pool after our day of exploring. The owner were always available for questions, conversation or directions.

Ridge Top Motel is a motorcycle friendly motel & campground. The owners, Kathy & Chad, will go the extra mile to insure your satisfaction. We have used this as one of our places to stay for the Smoky Mountain Ride In (http://smokymountainridein.com) which is held every year in June. Should you ride in on a motorcycle, a discount applies to your room rate, and you will find towels right on your motorcycle for cleaning in the morning. The location, on the top of a hill in Bryson City, NC is a great location for sightseeing, with the Smoky Mountains just thirty minutes away. Nearby activities include the Smoky Mountain Railroad and white water rafting.

Every year during the second week of June my family has a family reunion, and we always stay at the Ridge Top Motel. It's location is perfect - it's just a minute's drive from downtown Bryson City and it has a wonderful view of the Smoky Mountains! It's an awesome place for kids - the pool is great and the patio furniture is nice, and there's a nice yard for kids to play and people to gather. The service is excellent! The owners Chad and Cathy are wonderful and are welcome to any of our family reunion gatherings! I'm happy to say that the Ridge Top Motel has become a family tradition! I would recommend staying there to anyone planning to visit Bryson City.

Bikers this is the place to stay. It is minutes from Cherokee and beautiful mountain roads to ride on. The mountain view from their pool will take your breath away. This is the only place I have ever stayed where the owners would put their motel towels on the seats of motorcycles before it rained to keep them dry. I'm talking about 10 to 12 bikes. And they did this on their own not at the request of the bikers. The owners are very personable and really enjoy the company of their guests.
