We have stayed here several times and can always count on a good nights stay, reasonable breakfast, and friendly front desk folks. Nice place to stay.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving in the mountains. Not only was it one of the best Holiday Inns, but we enjoyed the shops in Brevard that are close to the hotel. It is also very close to Hendersonville (great quaint and unique shopping also). We took 276 through the Pisgah National Forest which is with 3 miles of the hotel. Gorgeous scenery, waterfalls and slippery rock were a few of thehighlights. Waynesville is only about 35 miles up the mountains - additional quaint shopping.

We were in Brevard for a climbing competition, and a little hiking and other fun, and were looking for something comfortable and not too expensive. This hotel is a chain and had standard, but nice, rooms. However, it has a very nice feel to it..hard to explain. The front desk staff is great and very accomadating, apples and info in the front hall, nice seating area in the breakfast room, the breakfast is good (kids loved the pancake machine) and the lady working there was very nice...but I still can't put my finger on it. It just didn't feel cold and "chain-like", but was a comfortable, inviting place.

We spent three nights here and after travelling across Canada and then south to North Carolina we think that this is the best place we have ever stayed. The room was large and very clean. The bed was comfortable. All of the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was quite good. The hotel is centrally located and easy to find.
We are always pleased when we stay at a hotel that isn't using perfumed cleaners and fabric softeners.
We would definitely go back there if we are ever travelling that way again.
