The Boone, NC Hampton Inn is a very well cared for standard Hampton Inn, pretty much clean spartan and unremarkable, except for Nikki Green the front office manager. She is pleasant to a fault and goes out of her way to be helpful and friendly, in short she sells the hotel and her bosses are lucky to have her.

We stayed here a year ago and I wrote a review because the hotel had all kinds of issues. I'm glad to say it is very much improved. The service was excellent. Everyone at the front desk was very nice and friendly. The only thing I see that needs improvement are the sheets and comforters need to be replaced from wear and tear. I would now recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Boone!

I normally stay in Hampton Inn, we are members and have stayed at Hampton Inns across the country. I have to say this is one of the oldest. Also I had a difficult time sleeping because of the lumpy bed covers that the stuffing migrated to the edge leaving me cold that I had to get the fleece blanket out and was still not completely comfortable. I complained, they said they would change out the bed cover but they didn't seem to have done anything the next night. Very disappointed. Will not be back.

I had read about (from reviewers during the summer) problems with the hot tub by the pool before I booked my stay. So I called up and was assured that everything was working fine several days in advance of my stay, This was important because my daughter really wanted a place with a hot tub. Lo and behold when I got there, it was out of order. Also it took the front desk three tries before they got me the room i was looking for, two beds. At the end, I complained to the front desk and they of course apologized and said they would credit our credit card. Two weeks later, I have not heard from them. Very disappointed considering this is a Hilton property.
