Loved the place even though it is not franchised. Rooms were clean, managment was great and it is in a great location. If you want a nice stay for a reasonable price this is a good bet and I am usally pretty picky.

Despite bed bug rumors, this hotel was A-Okay!
My family and I arrived in Boone at midday. I looked at a room and checked for bed bugs and found none. Despite going to other hotels to check their rooms as well, Greene's saved one for me. First off, Greene's has the best rates in town. Second, the rooms are spacious and clean. Third, this property is centrally located, which is useful with all the twisty, icy roads in town. We had plans on skiing which did not work out and, depsite having missed the check-out time by an hour and having paid for two nights, the front desk refunded our second night- which was very nice! I easily recommend this hotel for anybody unless you want one out in woods or are accustomed to the Ritz!

Pulled off the Blue Ridge Parkway into Boone for a one-night stay. The hotel wasn't overly expensive but I found the room old, in need of refurbishment, and generally disappointing. There must be better hotels in Boone than this.

This is an excellent hotel on an fantastic location, one of the best hotels in town with very resonable rates. This place has been recently remodel from inside and out. The rooms are extremly clean and big with private balcony. I would definitely stay there again. And also recommend this place to others.
