There is NO customer service that this hotel. We made reservations to stay at this hotel and received a confirmation number. Once we arrived at the hotel and had visited the hotel room, the innkeeper informed us that he would not honor our confirmation. After trying to reason with him and even agreeing to pay more than the reservation amount, he asked us to leave. We stayed at another hotel with better ammenities for the same money.

I was reluctant to book an extended stay anywhere in Blowing Rock without seeing my choices in person. After reading several reviews, I chose to stay a night at the Boxwood Lodge. It's a good choice. We had a king suite room. Room was very clean and smelled fresh. Bed and furniture all in great shape. Bed was very comfortable. This was a nice departure from the chain hotels. I would certainly stay again next visit. My wife thought the room was "cozy" and "quaint". Location is good for shops in Blowing Rock and surrounding area. I'm pretty picky when it comes to lodging. This was a good choice.

I just had a wonderful stay at the Boxwood Lodge. Phillip and Emma went out of their way to ensure that our group of 25 had the accommodations we needed to enjoy our activities. Our group will be returning. Great value for the money.

Loved the long porches with rocking chairs. Perfect for rocking, socializing & watching the world go by. Walked to everything in downtown Blowing Rock.

In addition, Phillip and Emma went waaaay beyond the call of duty to help me with a few personal predicaments that I managed to get myself into during my stay. Due to their hospitality, they transformed what could have been a difficult few days for me into a weekend of marvelous adventures.

Oh, and their free internet connection works flawlessly and is wickedly fast.

stayed in a single room for two nights, had a king bed, reclining/rocker armchair, good size tv, nice bathroom, nicely decorated. in a good position to explore blowing rock. in all a nice comfortable room and a pleasant stay
