Great place to stay in Blowing Rock! We stayed one night in the Cliff Dweller's Inn and we were so happy with the service, room, views, and location! It obvioiusly isn't a luxurious room but it's clean, cute, cozy and has everything you would need for a wonderful time in the mountains. We were really impressed with the room and the pictures online really don't do it justice. Also, this inn is build on a cliff and it's close to a bunch of really good restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here! I did a lot of research before staying here and I guess they must have done some rennovations/change in management since 2010. Either way, good place to stay now.

We had a great time! It is close to all the good shopping places. They are remodeling and are fixing it up very nice. The manager Stephen was very helpful and very nice. The continental breakfast is great and had alot of varieties.The rooms were big and very clean.

I visited here 10 years ago and loved it but this stay was the best. Stephen, the manager, was accomodating and made sure we had everything we needed for the room. Breakfast was served early and on time daily. The location is close to the Tanger Outlets, an adorable downtown decorated for the holidays and delicious restaraunts. I will definitely be back here again.

I recently stayed at this delightful inn on my journey down the parkway and really enjoyed it. The manager, Stephen, was extremely helpful. The room was quaint, clean, and comfortable. And the view of the pond was unobstructed. This place is aptly named - it really is on the side of a cliff, so all the rooms have a great view with a balcony. I understand the current ownership is fairly new, so older reviews should be read with that in mind. I only stayed one night, but if I travel in that area again, I'll make this place my base of operations.
