We felt our stay was a little disappointing considering the price of the Blueberry Villa. We have stayed at several B&Bs. This was the most expensive, yet it lacked the special touches we found at other inns. Although breakfast was advertised as starting at 9:00, it's nice to at least have coffee in the morning if you are an early riser. Other inns also offer access to a bar in the afternoon with tea, hot chocolate, fruit, cookies, etc. There were no visible menus for local restaurants. Our clock in the room had not been reset since the time change. The trash had not been taken from the bathroom. We just felt like the inn was not prepared for our visit.
On a positive note, we enjoyed the wine tasting and the employee there was helpful.

Blueberry Villa was quite a nice surprise in a beautiful mountain town. Our first visit here provided us with a quiet, relaxing and quaint weekend. The Villa itself is beautiful, comfortable and very accommodating. Amos prepares a very nice breakfast to be enjoyed along with the beautiful mountain views. In addition, a light snowfall topped it off for a perfect weekend. We will definitely be returning soon.

Never have been involved in anything like this, and I've been to some really great and fine places, my daughter was married at the location, with thier wedding package. It was first class, Service Was Great, It was nice to be with people that "Cared"

I've visited the Banner Elk Winery many times, as a great way to wind down after a busy day in the Banner Elk area. Un-pretentious, the winery offers a variety of locally-bottled wines, from grapes grown in the area. Surprisingly good wines, for such a small, out-of-the way venue, the employees and owners are down-to-earth, and have a professional demeanor, yet sense of humor....A great way for a group to relax, enjoy spectacular mountain vistas, with a couple of bottles of wine, before dinner! Lovely setting!! Kudos to Dick!!
