Archer's has become an annual getaway for me and my significant other. When you arrive, you're met by wonderful staff, great views, and phenomenal food at the restaurant. The rooms are a little out-of-date, but that’s part of the mountain charm.

If you’re visiting Banner Elk and are looking for a quaint, cozy, home-like inn, please stay here. Breakfast is included each morning, staff that is caring and wanting you to have the best experience, a fantastic chef that will provide an amazing dinner at restaurant, and even a chocolate lab named “Kip” to make it feel just like home.

We had a very pleasant stay! Our room (the Beech room) was big, quiet, comfortable, cozy. Had a fireplace and "kitchenette" area, with fridge and coffee maker. Our balcony overlooked grandfather mountain and the morning/evening views were incredible. About a five minute drive to Beech Mountain Ski Resort.

Archer's Inn felt very cozy and like home. The staff was extremely accommodating. We asked if we could extend our check out time and it was no problem since no one else had booked that room.

We would have paid for our amazing breakfast that was served each morning, however it was complimentary and served with a smile! It seems the staff members are "jacks of all trades", working the front desk, serving tables, and working the bar. We never felt underserved or ignored. It was nice getting to know the staff.

The Jackalopes View bar was neat too. Again, a great view and awesome appetizers. We didn't order dinner because it wasn't being served while we were there (I think she said they only serve dinner Thursday through Saturday?) Anyways, we were well fed! The bar was pretty slow (it was a Wednesday) but we played pool and enjoyed the views.

We are young professionals, and a very "outdoorsy" couple in our 20s-30s from South Florida. We feel this place was perfect for us. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and will definitely stay at Archers Inn again!

I stayed at the Archer's Mountain Inn this past weekend for a short ski trip. The views from the hotel are beautiful and the hotel is great. All staff were very accommodating, the rooms were quiet and cozy, and there was a nice fireplace in our room with fire logs ready to go. The breakfast (included in our room rate) the next morning was excellent. Definitely this hotel is worth your consideration if you are traveling to Banner Elk, NC.

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend for our anniversary, and we did not want to leave. The views were beautiful and the service was excellent. The restaurant is quiet and cozy, perfect for a nice romantic dinner and the food was spectacular the chef is a genius! The staff was very accomadating and friendly they make sure you are happy and take the time to conversate with all of their guests. We had alot of fun with Robbie in the vault he is an excellent bartender! If you are looking for a great rustic place to relax and have fun this is the place for you. You don't even have to leave, everything you need is all in one place. Great job to Candy and your staff you guys are awesome! We will be back very soon :-)
