I stayed at the Catskill Maison Bed & Breakfast Valentine's Day weekend with my fiance and another couple. When we arrived I automatically felt at home. We stayed in the Reisling and Shiraz suite. The rooms were so cozy and comfortable. The most important thing to me is cleanliness. The rooms were extremely clean, so I was completely at ease. All the products in the bathroom are eco-friendly. The breakfasts are amazing! I recall from one of my conversations with Lea she told me that she would not serve food to her guests that she wouldn't eat herself. They get their produce from local farms and the meats are antibiotic and perservative free. I eat an organic diet, so this was a perk. We also brought a homeade stew with us. Lea and Jo accommodated us by heating up the stew and also gave us bowls and utensils. We really felt like at home! The house is a mile away from Windham mountain, which is extremely convenient. Since it was Valentine's Day weekend, there were some extra treats. We enjoyed wine and cheese after we returned from skiing along with cupcackes and hot chocolate. When we got back to our room we saw rose metals on our bed which was very romantic.

The Catskill Maison is a lovely, quaint and cozy B&B away from the world...we had an excellent weekend experience here just the two of us! Hailing from NYC this is the perfect getaway from the stressful craziness from the city, complete with all the little touches of hospitality, privacy and a delicious homemade breakfast. It has got the quaint, rustic, nice decoration that I like and the modern technology - cable and internet, that he likes. The family who runs the place is very friendly and caters towards your needs. I enjoyed meeting the other guests at the optional wine and cheese "happy hour" but the best part was the homemade hot chocolate - thick, velvety and delicious - it ranks right up there with Max Brenner and Jaques Torres! Homemade cookies, comfy feathery beds, friendly service and eating breakfast on China, homey feel were highlights. Only downside was not having a car and only 1 taxi company in town (who was great!) but it is recommended to travel with a car since you need wheels to get anywhere. We stayed in the Champagne room which was perfect although a little pricey. The B&B will soon have a fireplace and winebar which will be a great addition. Thank-you Catskills Maison for giving us a most enjoyable, relaxing getaway from the world.. we look forward to coming back again!

My Husband and I, along with His brother and Wife stayed at the Catskill Maison for the celebration of our Wedding Anniversaries. While in Search for a relaxing B&B my Sis-in- Law and I searched and came across so many Grandma looking B&B's until we came across the Catskill Maison. We just knew that this was it. We were so excited as we were looking at the rooms pictured on the website that we called right away and booked reservations. Upon arriving our excitement grew even greater, for the mere fact that the website didn't lie and not to mention the warm welcome that we recieved from Lea and Jo. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful. On another note, the breakfast was out of this world, which included fresh ingredients from near by farms. The food was just simply phenominal. Overall a great experience and we will return and have been recommending since we returned home. Oh how can I forget the fresh baked cookies,nuts and the wine that awaits you after coming in from your outings around the town. They sure do know how to spoil you while your there :)

Stayed here for the weekend and had a lovely time, Jo and Lea were very helpful and friendly, the bedroom was big and clean, and the breakfast is to die for. We would stay here again.
