This hotel did not live up to my standards in a hotel. It is in desperate need of renovation. And the sad thing is that it has been renovated, just not fully. When we entered our room it smelled disgusting, and at first I thought it was cigarette smoke. No, it was a brand new carpet. There was also a flat screen TV, possibly new curtains and a new carpet but this is the extent of it. The rest of the room still needed some work, though. The furniture as in the bureau and the headboard etc. was not good. It looked like something my grandmother had in her bedroom. It was just outdated. The same with the lamps. It was also dark in one area of the room. The room just seemed so old style! I could tell that the room was not nice as soon as we walked into the room and flicked a light switch on. The circular bland light that came on above our heads flickered for a minute before turning on finally. As if we weren't dissatisfied enough with the room, my daughters went to get into their bed and there was hair and crumbs in their sheets. And the sheets were also stained. On the topic of dirtiness, our shower also did not look like any time was spent cleaning it. We had a nice night's sleep in this hotel at least, and the walls did not seem too thin. Then again, we arrived at 11 o clock at night and left at 6 in the morning--leaving no time for any disturbances really. The beds weren't that comfortable with springs sticking out in certain spots but it wasn't unbearable to sleep in the beds. The one or two springs sticking out didn't bother us. There were not any bed bugs at this hotel if you were wondering. Due to the age of the hotel I was surprised there weren't. The service at this hotel was excellent, though. All of the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was your typical complimentary breakfast; it was fine.

All and all this hotel is a fine place to stay one night if you're in the area and can't drive any further. It's not horrible but just didn't live up to our expectations at all. If you can drive further, go somewhere else. This hotel isn't worth the amount we paid for it at all. If you're alright with a hotel with dim furnishings and dirty sheets and it doesn't really bother you then I recommend this hotel. If you're a germophobic person (like myself and my children,) who prefers newer, renovated, and overall cleaner hotels, just find somewhere else.

ps) There isn't even wi-fi available in the rooms. There's a blue ethernet cable in the dim seating area of the room you can use, but I couldn't get it to work for me. As I said, I wasn't impressed with this hotel at all. If we were staying more than one night in the Buffalo area we would've checked out most definitely.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the elevator.

“Really happy about our stay”

After trying ang trying to find a room in the area on the saturday night of the long weekend this was the last place after a 4 hr search. I saw their ad on Priceline and booked threw the internet. Our room was VERY clean and there wasn't a hair to be found. The beds were awesome and we had no issues.
I was alittle concerned about the cookies floating in something at the front desk but laughed with the staff about how they were icecream sandwhiches for the kids and they had melted. The breakfest in the morning wasn't to my liking but Im super fussy about germs and handwashing so I would never eat at any hotel breakfest that was set up like a buffet . It was 10 minutes from Walden Mall and right next the the highway.
I would in a heartbeat stay at this hotel again!!

“A restful night”

Another random road trip stopover. Able to walk in and book a room, settle in, use the hot tub, and sleep. Had a good work out and yummy hot breakfast before leaving!

“WOW! The service at this hotel was outstanding from the front desk, breakfast room attendent, security and hotel manager”

I would highly recommend this hotel for any sports team! All of the staff went out of their way to make the whole weekend exceptional. My son's hockey team had a late game on Saturday night and the hotels pool was closed at 10:00pm. They opened for an extra hour so that the boys could swim. The continental breakfast (waffle station) was amazing and always fully stocked!!

“This place needs some TLC”

This Hampton Inn does not live up to the standard I've come to expect from the Hilton chain.
For one, the rooms are in desperate need of a makeover. In addition:
- The linens had stains.
- The remote control didn't work with the TV.
- There were hairs on the shower curtain.
- The sink had stains and dents in it.
- The room smelled like the previous guest had smoked in it.
- There is no wi-fi, and I spent half an hour on the phone with their tec guy (who was very nice) only to find out the Ethernet cable was bad. When I finally got it working it was slow as molasses.
- Two different vending machines ate my money.
- The parking lot was small and I had to park in the back - which looked a little sketchy.

On the plus side, the hotel is conveniently located. And even though it is near the highway, you don't hear it. In addition, the staff (front desk and tec guy) were friendly. The breakfast was good, as usual.
