Room was pretty basic and fridge was unplugged when we got there. Despite having a kitchen bench with kitchen utensils, there was no sink so we had to wash dishes in the bathroom. The TV was small with no remote control, and was mounted high up on the wall, hospital-style, which wasn't ideal.

Furnishings are basic, old and dated. Hot water service was dodgy - when turned on, loud noises would occur and the water would spray violently until it settled down eventually.

On the upside, the owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the location is fantastic - literally across the road from the beach and in close proximity to the town centre. The pool was clean. Great to stop over for a night or 2.

Just had a very enjoyable stay at Bay Lodge. the room was basic but clean and functional. Nothing is too much trouble for Kirsty the very helpful owner.. An amazing locational literally right on the beach front and exceptional good value for money. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay while in the area.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with the most amazing ocean view. We paid $160 per night for 4 people, so cheap with the amazing view we had. The room was basic and surface clean. If you are not going to spend much time in your room, I would recommend this budget accomodation. We were out all day with the kids at the beach, at monkey mia, the park, the mini golf, ocean park etc and only returned to the room to sleep. If you are going to spend time in the room, I would book somewhere else. Found Kristy the owner to be efficient and helpful.

The room, location and facilities were adequate and suited our need for an overnight stop,(between Perth and Exmouth), perfectly.
While it wasn't very modern or luxerious, it was clean and functional - and we loved the fact that it was literally a stone's throw from the beach...and a short walk away from an excellent meal at The Old Pearler...
