Having stayed on St Mary's three times and each time at Tregarthens, I can fully recommend the hotel for great service, food and a perfect location. The rooms have been recently renovated and look great. I look forward to my next visit.

The best kept secret in the UK is the Isle of Scilly, I have just come back from my 15th visit and for the last 13 of them I have stayed at Tregarthens', the best position, the finest food, newly refurbished rooms, friendly and helpful staff, there is know better place to stay.

Just had a fantastic short break with a group of friends on the Isles of Scilly, with a memorable stay at Tregarthens. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming - the management have such a good team working there. The food was superb, from the classic full English breakfast to the delicious four course dinner in the evening. I didn't spend long in the bedroom - too much to do around the islands, but it was very clean and comfortable, recently decorated and had a great view across the harbour at St Mary's. Thanks to all at Tregarthens - I've already planned a return visit next year.

I organise a large group of travelers which means I take credit when things go well and responsibility (and grief) when they don't. As such, being able to stay at Tregarthen's is not only hugely enjoyable but also an enormous weight off my shoulders. Nothing is too much trouble, and Ben (the GM) and his team really do put themselves out to ensure our visit is a success - year after year. The recently refurbished rooms are excellent - and beautifully cleaned every morning despite the assorted sports kit scattered far and wide. The food is superb with a fantastic and varied choice of menu every evening, whilst of course the views from the lounge, restaurant and decking would be hard to beat anywhere. I constantly recommend this hotel to others and have pride in doing so. Go and stay, you will not be disappointed.
