Would never stay here again and would warn travellers to not stay as well. They charged us twice for our stay, responded to our initial emails inquiring about the double charge and have now gone silent.

Poor business ethics.

If you are going to stay here pay cash and don't give them your credit card information.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in July. The staff were welcoming and our room was nice - tiled floor, light and airy, small balcony, very clean. I couldn't fault it. My only disappointment was the breakfast which was a little minimal (most bread/croissant based, no buffet selection) but this is quite typical in this area. Anacapri is a lovely town and the hotel is only a few minutes walk from the restaurant area, making it ideal.
Unfortunately although the hotel has a lovely big pool, it was very busy with young, crying or shouting children and their equally loud parents which was offputting but not really the fault of the hotel.

This is more of a bed and bun place- which I mean literally, as breakfast included only croissants!
Room seems to be set in the 17th century, however it was very clean.
Managed by an elderly couple and location is not that great.
The best thing, however about this hotel is free wifi which although quite slow is quite helpful!

Overall, I would say if you can't find a cheaper hotel and don't mind ancient rooms go for it as place is clean and tidy; but I wouldn't recommend it.

I am traveling with a friend and we stayed for two nights. If they had not been booked up for the next night, we would have stayed longer. Breakfast was not included in the price of our stay, but the friendly hotel manager gave it to us for free anyway. The swimming pool was not yet open, but we took a short bus ride to Faro for sunbathing. The hotel is conveniently located: you can get off the bus at the post office and the hotel is about 20 metres west. The room and bathroom were very clean, we had our own balcony and the daytime cleaning service was great. We came back after a boat ride and everything was in order. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurants are very close by. Wifi was difficult but the computer in the lobby is free and fast. Some students were a bit loud in the next room one night, maybe the walls are a bit thin, but they quieted down before we went to sleep. Our experience was overall great. If we go back we will stay there again.
