A beautiful and relaxing retreat from the touristy crowds below. Amazing views...especially at sunset. We didn't mind the steep steps as this felt good after the delicious meals we had. Out of all of the places that we stayed during our 2 weeks in Italy, this B & B was the most memorable due to the wonderful hospitality that Costanzo and his family showed us. We felt as if we were staying with friends. We will always remember sitting on the terrace at sunset with a complimentary bottle of wine and snack enjoying the spectacular sunset over the sea. Costanzo's restaurant recommendations were spot on and after telling them where we were staying, we were surprised with champagne and after dinner liqueurs. Thank you Costanzo for a wonderful experience while in Anacapri!

We spent almost two weeks at Monte Solaro B&B. We were very glad that we had found that place. It's a family run business - and they take great care that everyone is happy while being their guest. They provide you with what is most important during holidays: extra clean room, spacious, nicely done bathroom (essential in Capri climate), frequently changed good quality towels, a lot of space to suntan and socialize (sundeck, swimming pool, terrace to watch sunsets), free internet access, little fridge in the room, good breakfasts and lots and lots of heart put in it. They also have something which is the best invention since the beginning of mankind - free access to sparkling/still water fountain (very rare in hotels and they usually charge you for water). If you need plates, forks, knives, good advice - it's all there. The hotel is located up a hill which gives you great views and long hours of sun (west side of the island - crucial) Do not worry - they will drive you up every day if you drop them a call (with luggage or without it). We did not mind walking up - its all steps and it was good for us. The way down is not a problem at all. In 3 minutes you are at the little square with all buses you need to move around the island - perfect - also to Lido del Faro. This is the beach that gets most sun in Capri. But it's the Family that made our stay in Capri so good. Thank you again.

This was our second returned to Anacapri and Monte Solaro. This year, in the middle of September for 2 weeks, had an equally fantastic experience. Partly from the soothing effect the island has on most who visit, but mostly from the hospitality and warmth offered us from the owners of Monte Solaro B&B. The establishment is owned and operated by a family. Anna Maria (mom), Antonio (dad), Costanzo (son) and two other sons (Carlo and Fernando). Mom and Dad are the sweetest and most generous people you can meet. Along with Costanzo, they make sure your stay is smooth, pleasant, clean, accommodating and go out of their way to make you feel like its your own home. They are always available to shuttle anyone up and down the driveway from the BB to the main road.
The combination of their always giving heart and the mesmerizing views makes this place a must stay location and in my opinion the only place to stay when in Anacapri. Looking forward to returning to paradise and seeing the "family" once more, next year.

I stayed at this hotel in May with my boyfriend, parents, aunt and uncle, and sister. It is a small hotel, we had the whole place to ourselves, so the owners really take care of you. I like a bit of exercise, especially after all the good food we ate, so i didn't mind the walk up to the hotel. The view was amazing, the rooms were really nice, and the hospitality was great. The recommended restaurant, Mamma Giovanna, was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return!
