it is more a 2 star not a 4 .....the all inclusive deal is just a waste of money....all inclusive at this hotel is rather half board....the only good thing about this hotel was that the rooms was cleaned in everyday...you booked a double room but you will get a twin room instead which will give you a bad back

Stayed in Oasis hotel August 2011. Impressed by the picturesque gardens when we first arrived, the food was plentiful, lots of different choice. Drinks available all day until half midnight. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. They helped you with your luggage to the room if needed. Hotel very shaded and cool, no need to get sun stroke. Free air conditioning. Highly recommended.

The only good thing about this hotel is the swimming pool. We should have been warned at the start when although both being over 70 we had to carry our bags up 4 flights of stairs. The food was mediocre in variety and never hot. Even when a empty dish was replaced the replacement was only lukewarm. All other inclusive deals we have been on have had unlimited drinks all day and included local spirits but not here. Before we realised we had to hold the shower by hand we attached it to the wall holder, flooding the bathroom and a lot of the bedroom. Came back one day to find the cleaner had done the same but not mopped up. The road being built outside the hotel is a trap for unwary foot users, to cross the road is to take ones life in ones hand. We counted at least 9 cats in the gardens, at night climbing on chairs and tables. Luckily we like walking as Afondou and the beach were a fair distance away. I lied at the start, the other good thing for my husband was the ice cream.

The oasis is a quiet hotel and twin room we had was to good standard traditionally Greek, the double room was below standard with noisy fridge that had to be turned off so we could sleep. The rooms are cleaned daily and hotel and grounds are kept very clean. The all inclusive only includes wine, beer and soft drinks and the food is fresh everyday the options included meat, fish pasta and various salads the puddings were mainly ice cream. There are 2 super markets either side of the hotel approximately 300m away and the beach is a 10-15 min walk away which is shingle. Buses run regularly to towns across the island and taxi prices are good.
