“Clean and comfortable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

Needed a room for five close to Rochester when I came across the reviews for this Fairfield Inn. It turned out to be a great choice. Made our reservations online and checkin was very fast. The room was clean and comfortable. The rollaway bed we had requested was in the room too. The kids enjoyed the pool which was very clean. Breakfast is kind of odd with cold eggs and bacon and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches that you heat up in the microwave, But there's also cereal, fruit, yogurt and make your own waffles. There was a menu in the room for a pizza place called Guida's which was right up the road. They also delivered and since the weather was bad we gave them a call. The food was great. We got pizza, wings and calzones at a very reasonable price. We ate in the breakfast area in the lobby. Staff was friendly. A note about parking--you have to drive past the hotel and turn into the the BJ's plaza. You get to the hotel from there. We would certainly stay here again.

“Best Customer Service Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

As a sports family we stay at several hotels throughout the year and I can honestly say that I have never encountered better customer service. The two young guys on the front desk were amazing and Walt the maintenance man went above and beyond. The management of the hotel should be very proud of their team.

“Lovely room”

We drove across New York State, from Albany to Rochester, looking for a reasonably priced room in a reputable hotel on a Wednesday night! There was virtually nothing to be found under $225/night from Albany to Uttica, to Syracuse, to Binghamton, to Ithaca, to Rochester, except this a bit out-of-the-way hotel east of Rochester. We resigned ourselves to driving an extra 20 miles or so out of the way because we really had no choice. The place was delightful. The room was huge, with a special alcove for storing luggage (how wonderful!) and sliding doors on the closet that had a ceiling light. The bathroom itself was a bit small, but the rest of the room made up for that. We were on the first floor, so I'm not sure if all the rooms are like this, but it was worth the $125 (with taxes) cost. The breakfast was a little different: bacon, sausage, and eggs had all been cooked ahead and needed to be microwaved, but they tasted great.

“Nice and easy”

We had a pleasant two night stay at this hotel in August 2011. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was clean. We went to nearby Seabreeze Amusement park and that was about 10 minute drive - very nice.
The hotel recommended T's for breakfast. This is a local restaurant in the shopping complex nearby. Very good, inexpensive and seems to be a local favorite as there was a wait to get a table (but worth it).

“Nice staff, good value”

Our extended family got together on short notice and booked several rooms at the Webster NY Fairfield Inn the weekend of Aug 5-7. The front desk staff was extremely nice and accommodating. We needed several rollaways and early check-ins and they helped us with a smile. Breakfast was plentiful and apples and cookies were available throughout the day. The rooms with two double beds were spacious and included a microwave and little fridge - very handy if traveling with kids. Nice firm beds.

The eating area is a little small, so you might want to take your breakfast to your room.

Tip: The hotel entrance is through the Webster Square shopping center driveway. There is no direct entrance from Hard Road. You'll see a sign for BJ's and Staples from Hard Road. Turn into the parking lot there and then you'll see a sign for the hotel.
