We (60+ well travelled Aussies) took up a web advertised 3day/2night "special" complete with 1 dinner/spa and breakfast, in seaside resort of ConCOn (*which is actually 3 miles away).
Resort and room appear OK on arrival, but 1) Breakfast is in the refrigator (cook it yourself) if the "provisions" provided suit your tastes. 2) Pool is freezing and all deck chairs are broken. 3) There is only one restraurant nearby but no shops (open) within 3 miles. 4) No phone line/mobile reception or Eftpos available 5) None of the staff accept an distant (Santiago) Juan, understand speak English. It is also listed as a timeshare resort with RCI but shown incorrectly on there map and should have a -2*rating.
Suggest it's for locals only with own car/groceries and low expectations
