“Qite fine”

We stayed this hotel for a week. It`s a nice budget place to rest & vacations. Not luxury, but neat. Cleaning was every day. The great acquisition, in my opinion, is the teapot in the chamber. Teabags & instant coffee included.
Meal was quite edible too.
Staff is very friendly & ready to help.
The bus stop is just in front of hotel. Bus № 486 get u to Jerusalem, 444 - to Eilat. Massada fortress is a 12 km in direction to Jerusalem & Ein Gedi. Few foodstores nearby. Dollars & euro are accept.

“A comfortable hotel geared to more mature people”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 July 2010

The hotel was one of many in the area, across the road from the dead sea. It was comfortable and provided evening entertainment. The pool was great and the staff helpful.

“Won't ever stay here again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2008

The hotel advertises that it is "steps from the Dead Sea..." They fail to mention that it is a very steep driveway - as a matter of fact they offer a "shuttle service" for those very many older guests who aren't able to make it down to the Sea or back up to the hotel under their own power. No private beach - just the dirty public one with tour buses coming and going all day. No real relaxation possible.
The rooms are indeed spacious, but have no balcony, small windows (which made the room stuffy because no breeze came in), badly working toilets, etc.
The food was mediocre.
To top it off 200 euros were stolen from my room, with the hotel saying I must have just "lost" them.
All in all most disappointing. Have stayed at the Lot and the Tsell Harim and both were many times better. Would never stay here again and will in the future always book into a hotel with a private beach. It's worth the extra expense!!

“Good for low-budget stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 April 2008

Just back from Gardens Dead Sea.
Not a bad hotel, with a spacious rooms (alas, without balconies), just about 50 metres
from the Dead Sea.Very reasonable Spa (free of charge for
hotel guests), friendly staff.
However,the food is rather poor.
Quite an option if you get a good price -
otherwise, you'd rather prefer one of 5-stars hotels nearby.
