Have stayed here for a good week with wife & daughter of 7 months old. Brand new resort, pretty well in terms of set up of both the shared facilities (excellent gym, pool, restaurant area etc.) and the quality of the bungalows.
What made it great:
The staff, especially of the breakfast buffet (specific thumbs up for Saw, Laurelle and Elna) and the Windsong bar (Myra, you're the best!), made the experience special and really gave us that 5 star feeling. Attentive, correct and friendly.
The location & set up of the resort - in on pe word excellent - though could've been more Eco friendly in some respects
The beds were amazing
What needs some work to make it a 'real 5 star' resort:
Quality of the food in the a la carte restaurant l'Indochine - especially when compared to the price
Knowledge of the wine list too limited, again especially as you can buy some real expensive and good wines
The staff is super friendly, but not well educated in elementary things ie. I don't want my coffee cup filled to the absolute maximum, same goes for the wine during diner. Not even when I order wine by the glass. The funny and slightly disturbing thing is that there are many, mostly German, supervisors that are not doing things directly for guests. This is done by the locally employed staff. They apparently do also not invest their time in training the local staff - a missed opportunity in my opinion.
All in all we've had a lovely time, it's surely a place I can recommend. Just adjust your expectations to a solid 4 stars and you want be disappointed.
