Me and my wife stayed at The Silver Beach in March, 2011 and as a frequent traveler, this hotel has to be rated as the very best. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. I cannot say one negative comment. I would never stay anywhere else when again in Mauritius. And the location is perfect. Kudos to the general manager and his entire staff. The rooms were alot smaller than shown on the website, but, they are cozy and charming. However, the bathrooms were very nice, and you get a nice, big, buffet-style breakfast.

This hotel is a little diamond! Great accomodation clean and spotless. We had a see view room worth paying the extra, but its a long way to the 4th floor with no lift! The thing that makes this hotel is the staff 95% of them are amazing, very attentive and nothing is too much trouble! There was one member of staff who I found very rude. This was the bar man! Unsure what his name was but if i say he seemed to have a problem with smiling, you will spot him from a mile away! I also witnessed him having an argument with a member of the waiting staff by the bar infront of the guests! Not very professional! He went on about how he worked on international cruise ships, well all i can think is its no wonder hes not working on the ships anymore with a face like that! He also claims that he looks like James Bond! They must have a different James Bond in mauritius! LOL!Managment please sort this one out as he really is letting the side down! Food was amazing drinks amazing service second to none! Will return here without any doubts!

Cheap and Chearfull,but spotless,with fantastic service,on a incredible beach with splendid views of the outer reef.

Just got back from a brilliant holiday at this hotel.
Food was of a very high standard for a three star hotel.
Staff are friendly, most helpful and diligent. Rooms are comfortable and clean without being luxurious.
Quiet location on a very breazy coast but that was welcome.
Would totally recommend this little peach of a place.
If you want to lounge around the beach or pool this is a perfect place but a bit isolated and would recommend a car.

For British people, driving in Mauitius is easy and even in Port Louis, the capital, it is not intimidating.
