Nestled in a splendid garden, this hotel offer peace and tranquility.
Rooms are adequitely large and have enough space for two maybe even three people. The kids club is a plus point for young parents who want some time off and on their own.
The front desk staff is very helpfull and will advise you on the attractions to be had around the area. The same goes for the other staff, from the manager down to the gardeners and security staff. The property is gaurded at night and this make one feel that much more safe. Beach vendors are not allowed on the premises and this is a good thing in my opinion as they can really be a pest to tourists trying to sell their brick and brack.
Getting to the food. There is room for change. Breakfast is the same everyday and tend to get boring. The themed dinners need some attention as well. Though edible, some dishes need urgent attention.
The beach is another plus point. Allthough small, it is adequite for lazing away in the sun. Watersport activities is accesable from the north jetty at the boat house. Only a pity the daily activities is not advertised and one do not know what is on and when.
Situated close to bus stops, access to Grand Baie and Port Loius is easy and busses are running regurly from early morning to late afternoon. Best advise is to get a bus to travel short distances as taxis may be quite expensive.
Stay away from the mini bar allthough very tempting. It is above average on prices. Rather buy water from the supermarket in Grand Baie. Accroos the road from the hotel, there is also a restaurant where very good sea food dishes may be had at reasonable prices. Beyond this restaurant a small but well stocked supermarket can also be found. Don't be fooled by the clothing store in the front, access is gained throught the clothing store that sells ladies and gents garments.
On average this hotel is a reasonable dwelling. It is clean and comfortable and is worth a 3* grading.
