“It's 2 stars standard old and no service food low quality..”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012 via mobile

Very good place for kite surf and windsurf always strong and costante wind but the hotel is a disaster. Level 2 stars hotel. Very old furniture in the rooms and restaurant it needs a lot work and decoration. Food is low quality only French language spoken. Rooms dirty n scurity at all. I found 2 times my rooms opened. No shampoo in the restroom, no lift broken since a month, no lights on the floor ramdom. No sigarette sold.. Better I stop here. Nightmare

“Detailed review of a good stay here last week, felt like a honeymooner again :)”

My 2nd visit to Mauritius in a span of 3 months..haha..m a lucky bloke..:)..If you’re one of those who get home sick often and you’re Indian or wanna feel like a native Indian. This is the right place for you. The Indian resort is for all those who do not want to leave your land even in a foreign country. The entire hotel is designed on the indianite concept hence giving you a homely feel.

Now we book this tour package again from Antilog Vacations , a famous bulk dealer of Mauritius based in India. They easily offer a package rate upto 15-20% cheaper than market rates & offer exceptional service.so , it was a natural choice

Rooms , food & services r exceptional with no issues absolutely.what u need is there.Better check the hotel site fr details..whatever is mentioned is there..needn’t worry

The hotel tries to satisfy all its tourists. For those looking at relaxation & rejenuvation don’t miss the dolphin spa that looks awesome facing the sea. This spa is based on Chinese methods. It mainly aims at observation of reflex areas of the face and body, of the morphology and individual energy biorhythm. The great thing that I witnessed in this spa is that they are certain packages if taken regularly can help you look younger reduces aging. Cool right!!!

If you’re with family and travelling with kids don’t forget to take them to the Akuna-Matata Kids’ Club. This is a club for children aged 3 – 12. The club is open from 9 – 12. They organize various games to entertain children. The batches are clubbed for smaller children and bigger ones. Ski, drifter, catamaran*, sailboard*, pedal boats, canoe, glass bottom boat, speed boat*, snorkel*, hobby dragon*, “petite traîne “*, scuba diving. *with a supplement.

I am going to talk a little about catamaran taken from the Tamil word kattu maram it means that 4 logs will be tied together and sailed as a boat. You can make it go to mid sea and float there. Requirements for this are you need to wear a life jacket. No need to know how to swim you will always have an escort to help you.

Honeymooners . its d best place for you to be in..princely treatment with beaches and fun. I had spent my honeymoon else where bt felt like a honeymooner again..Lovely Place

“What A Stay:-)”

We were on our honeymoon.1st visit to Mauritius & Indian Resort made it an even more memorable one. Staff were really friendly & understanding. Be it the room service or food or entertainment group, all were really good. Beach & scenic beauty is everywhere but what makes this hotel special is its staff. We were foreigners here but they made every effort to make us feel comfortable.

Room Tip: Any room is good. We had on 1st floor & we enjoyed their hospitality:-)

“Makeover needed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Hotel and service badly in need of an overhaul. Staff are untrained and lack motivation and attention to detail. Rooms need decoration and new fixtures in spite of being done last year apparently. Food quality varied from ok to uncooked. Nothing that training and time could not fix but it was difficult to find someone empowered to do it. There were one or two great people in the restaurant who tried to help improve the experience but it was hard for them

Still a great location for watersports with good equipment and staff but this is independent of the hotel. With new hotels opening nearby, this hotel needs to adjust to keep up.

Not worth the money and definitely nowhere near the 4 stars it claims.
