we have stayed on the red sea.many times and looked to the radisson in particular for snorkelling. The jetty allows you to walk to the reef and go down the steps with out having to swim out. However last week there was high winds, so with a perminent red flag, had no snorklelling. From taba heights to marsa alam, the wind is always in presence. All the beaches have wind breakers so you are able to sun bath with out wind. The temperature was around 22c - 25c for the week which is lower than usual. Still behind those wind breakers felt like 28c !
The staff were very helpful and always at your service. The main reception areas were of high quality. Whether it was just a few rooms that needed updating, I don't know but our room was tired. Curtains that had black out liners were falling down. The balcony door sometimes shut. Customer service were always there to help but there is a limit to how many times you rang them. I expected a similar standard to previous hotels on the red sea. Food was of good standard.
Plenty of choice, no complaints there. IF you want a little luxury though, it's not for you.
