Great location. Massive room. Wonderful host. We'll be back!

Don't let the slightly weather beaten exterior of this grand old home fool you. Inside the rooms and common areas have been lovingly restored and are warm and welcoming. Our stay was all too brief, but we would stay again if back in the area.

Peach Grove Inn is run by very nice proprietor, but the building needs to be repainted and there is a sickly sweet smell on the ground floor that turned my stomach every time I came in. I'm assuming this is some kind of "peachy" air freshener that could be easily changed. In addition, the rooms in the front are very exposed to the sound of traffic on Route 17, and they are also hot in the summer time - even with ceiling fans. The central air really only keeps the main floor cool. The WiFi does not really work either. On the plus side, the decor is quite lovely, the bathrooms are clean, and the breakfast is made with care. The house itself is also quite grand with a gorgeous view in the back.

The Peach Grove Inn is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast, just a short drive from downtown Warwick, NY. The rooms are spacious and reasonably priced. The house is close to a busy road so you can hear the cars if you are in the rooms towards the front. That said, we stayed in a room towards the front on the bottom floor and it did not bother us. The house has high ceilings, a gorgeous staircase and is filled with antiques. The backyard is small, but beautiful and affords a nice view of the surrounding farmlands.

The innkeeper, John, was very accommodating and knowledgeable about both the history of the house and the town of Warwick. He recommended a number of great restaurants in the area as well as where to go to swim, wine taste, etc. He was a pleasure to talk to.

Breakfast was delicious. John cooked it himself and served it family style, giving us an opportunity to meet and mingle with the other guests. He was sure to include a variety of options including baked goods, yogurt, fruit, pancakes and eggs.

This was a perfect setting to escape city life and relax in the country for a weekend. We would absolutely return!
