This was our 4th visit to the Microtel in Victor NY. (Saturday November 19th)
As always it was clean, neat and quiet. There was no smoke ordors in the room and for sure there are no bed bugs. The folks who wrote the review to say that there were bedbugs must have stayed at another hotel. Do not let their comments deter you - there are no bedbugs at this hotel
As the name indicates, the rooms are small, but they are clean and neat. This is not a 3 or 4 star hotel but it is clean.
You cannot beat the great price - great value for your money!
Staff very helpful. Free breakfast was good.

We have stayed here a number of times and plan to return again. Our stays are lengthy.The public areas are very clean and orderly. The staff is helpful and cheerful. Special thanks to Andrew and Jackie -their warmth and kindness was genuine. The manager ,Tom, has always been accessible and eager to please. I'm very sensitive to smoke and have NEVER smelled any in the rooms. No sign of bedbugs ever. Best value in the Rochester area.

Convenient, yes. We stayed there on our way back from the Finger lakes and had some relatives to visit in Pittsford. The first room stunk of stale smoke so bad I walked right out and changed rooms. This is a non smoking hotel??? The next morning I was having coffee in the lobby breakfast area and was talking to a man waiting for the manager to show up. He had BED BUGS in room and beds. He showed me several pictures of the bugs on the sheets that he took with his cell phone. They were time stamped just a few hours prior. I checked our rooms and found no bugs but I will not take the chance of going back there again.

The bed is crawling with bed bugs. Disgusting. They switched my room ( it's midnight) but I'm sure I won't get any sleep tonight.
It also reeks of stale smoke.
Do not stay here.
