“Excellent! One of the best places I've stayed!”

Extremely happy with this hotel. I've stayed at a lot of places while on vacation and for business, and this definitely tops the list. A group of us were staying in the area, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Checkout was a breeze, they had the paperwork ready and already printed out, just needed to be signed. They gave us the pool/breakfast hours, and offered to open either outside of normal hours if our schedule didn't line up.

The room itself was great, plenty big and comfortable beds. Lots of pillows (4 per bed) which is always a plus. The TV only had 30 something channels, but I was happy to find NFL Network and catch a Thursday night game I figured I'd be missing. What really stood out in the rooms was attention to detail: an extra outlet on the bedside lamp for a cell phone charger, a lighted light switch next to the door, a very well-designed bathroom, and heavy, solid doors. They really went all out and bought good quality heavy duty stuff for the whole room.

The breakfast in the morning was awesome also. Tons of food to choose from: hot eggs and sausage, cold and hot cereals, english muffins and toast, a waffle maker, yogurt, and plenty of other stuff. We went to the pool for a day also, the hot tub isn't too hot but it's big, which is nice. The pool is pretty warm. Didn't use the exercise room but it seemed pretty well equipped. We went to the restaurant for dinner, and it was pretty good. Nothing special but decent. I recommend Two Brothers Meat Market (a deli) for lunch in downtown Ticonderoga, great sandwiches.

“One of the nicest places I've ever stayed!”

My stay at this hotel was a perfect surprise at the end of a long drive. I booked this Best Western based off of reviews, it was everything I expected and more. The hotel was clean, the room was large and comfortable and the customer service was outstanding. The restaurant in the hotel was even good! And the breakfast is was the best hotel-included breakfast I've ever seen.

“Nice rooms”

Great Best western Hotel.
Too bad there are no cards to bring luggage to the room especially when room is upstairs and way down the hall.
NO automatic front doors make it a struggle to get thru these doors with luggage.
Room was nice and large although somewhat poorly lit.
Temparature hared to control.
Breakfast was nice .So was the supper in the dining room.

“WHAT A GEM!”

We ended up by accident at the Best Western Hotel in Ticonderoga. What a find!

The hotel is nestled in a residential area which was different. Every member of the staff had a warm smile and was more than willing to be of help, and surprise, they could answer questions about their local area which was refreshing!!

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Lovely white bedding and towels, which go a long way with me. A refrigerator to keep the wine, cheese etc., cool.

No need to make coffee in the room (unless you wanted to) as there is 24hr "good coffee/tea" available in the reception area, complimented with cookies.

Dining at the hotel was a great experience. The restaurant within the hotel was warm and inviting and offered delicious food that was affordable (their burgers are awesome!) complimented with a wide range of beers and wine, plus attentive wait staff.

The hot complimentary breakfast was served in the restaurant in the morning, and thankfully there was no need to fight for a table.

We did not use the pool or the hot tub, but they did look welcoming. Maybe we should have popped around to Wal Mart (which is 5 mins away) and bought swimwear!

In part because of this hotel we have decided to return to the area next year. There is so much to see and do, and with Vermont on the door step there is a lot to explore.

So, if you are going to visit in the area of Lake George, don't pass up on this hotel - it is a rare find!

I went to visit friends that were staying at Rogers Rock camp ground and I don't do tents. I stayed here for one night, it was clean and fairly reasonably priced I would recommend it. It was easy to find and centrally located in a town that doesn't have much
