I reached the hotel on December 31 from Boston. We reserved 2 rooms for about $70 @ including tax. The hall was cozy with a great fireplace and a small restaurant that opens in the morning.

The front desk people were very helpful. I had a speeding tickets just 2 exit at I90 before the exits to the hotel. The gentleman in the front desk even gave me phone no. of local attorney that could fight the ticket for me.

The room was huge, and the bathroom was exceptional huge. The room was clean with a lot of space. We had 2 queen size beds. The decoration was not fanzy but it was good enough for a one night sleep. The softness of the bed and the comforter was just about right. My friends lived just right besides us with a very young kid but we couldn't hear anything and overall the room was quiet.

Hotwire said it had a compliementary continental breakfast but the breakfast was surprisingly good. It had scrumble eggs, sauages, and hot waffle beside the normal cold stuffs. It was really enjoyable to eat at such a cozy area. One complaint was the fire place was a bit too hot at the lobby.

If you don't want to go anywhere to eat, you could walk to the McDonald right besides the hotel.

I suggest anyone to stay in this 3* hotel if they by any chance pass through Syracuse.

Stayed 2 nights for the Black Friday sales.
Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful.
We had a room on the top floor with a king bed. The room also had a large desk, an easy chair, dresser and a flat screen TV.
Wireless internet is also free.
We also found the hotel was very quiet and didn't hear people coming a going to their rooms.
The bed was very hard so a little uncomfortable for us but if a hard bed is what you like you will be fine. Also had 5 pillows which is nice as I fined quite often with King size bed you still maybe get only 2 or 3 pillows at most hotels.
Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels.
Breakfast started at 6am and goes to 9 am. Consisted of the usual juice,cereal, yogurt,toast,bagels, a couple of sweet treats and the nice extra of Belgium Waffles (you make it yourself) and scrambled eggs and sausage. Of course coffee, tea and hot chocolate was available all the time. The breakfast was the same both days.
The hotel room was a little dated but for the price we paid and from comments family members who stayed at a different hotel that they didn't like we got a good deal.
We would stay here again.

We stayed here one night and used a coupon book so got the room for $65.00. Location good but difficult to find. Room is okay- could have some updating. The hallways smell of smoke and although we have a NS room,there is smoking on part of the floor. For one night it is okay but would be mich better if the whole hotel was no smowing.

My daughter and I stayed here while traveling to attend a sports event at
Syracuse University. The property screams "average". There is nothing that stood out, either good or bad. The front desk staff was courteous, but we saw little of any other staff. The room furnishings were adequate, but dated. The room was reasonably clean, but the little things were missed by cleaning staff (i.e. the hard to reach corners, the out-of sight places left untouched). The furniture was spartan and serviceable, but ,,, average. The breakfast was edible, but the hotel was relatively full, and competition for food and seating was fierce. This property did not stand out compared with other Comfort Inns and Suites properties I have stayed at; it seemed comparable to what you might get at most low-end discount chains.
