stayed for the weekend . Hotel staff was very good. We had a group buffet dinner and it was very good. Very comfortable lobby. Rooms were well equipped and modern

We came down for New Years. The hotel was very nice inside, the hotel food was great with a nice selection. The rooms were very modern, with a comfy bed and a very nice bathroom. Would 100% book again here. Also A+++ on service.

The rooms and the hotel are actually very nice and neat. But, bed was hard on the old back, the heat was horrible (we stayed in January). Had to set the temp to 75 just to get the room to about 65. The windows iced over on the inside, then melted and dripped water everywhere by morning. Walls were thin. The guy next door had a cold and when he sneezed it was like he was in the room with us. Huge gap under the room door so everyone out in the hall might as well be in your room too. Too bad. Everything else was quite nice.

This is one of the few hotels located near Syracuse University. Back in the day it was a Holiday Inn. The building is round so each room is pie-shaped which is a bit weird. The shape makes for a very crowded bathroom -- not a problem if you're traveling alone but a bit tight if your with another person. Shower, as noted, is open but I didn't find that to be a problem. The room was very clean and fairly quiet considering well traveled Route 81 is only yards away. TV was great and the furniture was well thought out. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were much better than most hotels offer. It would have been a real plus to have a small frig -- most hotels do offer them now a days -- to keep some beer and soda cold.

Skip the breakfast in the hotel which was grossly overpriced and severely lacking in quality and service. The bar area is very nice and the bartender was top notch. We were guests of the University so I have to admit I don't know what the cost of our room was, so I can't rate value. All in all a very good stay!
