Stayed here for a business trip. I was greeted by a friendly and efficient front desk staff. The room (regular king) was to the Hilton Garden standard (the HGIs that I've stayed have been very consistent here). The adjustable bed was pleasantly firm and very comfortable. There was a small fridge, microwave and coffee station in the room. The TV was flat screen but there were no widescreen/hi-def channels offered. The complementary wired Internet (wireless is offered as well) was OK, even in the evenings.
The bathroom fixtures were showing some wear, with the bathtub faucet about to come off in my hand. One morning when I grabbed what I thought was a clean towel, there was some hair between the folds <yuk!>.
The on-site restaurant (Lorenzo's) was OK and offered mostly Italian-type fare. The breakfast is cooked-to-order eggs with buffet for everything else and was fine. There is an exercise room with the usual cardio machines as well as a weight machine.
This is not a bad choice if you need to be in this part of Staten Island.
