We stayed one night 2-21-11 and there were 2 other couples sharing the Home. Our "deal" came with $50.00 dinner credit at Sherwood Inn.
This house it architecturally beautiful. I have posted photos which speak better than words. Been to more than a few B&Bs and here we felt at ease and at home..
Maureen, the innkeeper, was friendly and very accommodating (wine/beer was for the asking). The location was short drive (in summer would make a nice walk, but the temp was in the teens) to town.
Upon arrival there was the wonderful smell of cookies. We took tour of the house and found out large room with bathroom with Shower and separate tub. The house has a split living room are and a small library well stocked with a variety of book, So if the house is full it seem there would be places to be aside by yourself if wanted.
The breakfast was delicious and the scones (prepared by Maureen, using a secret recipe) were amazing.
The view of the lake from the hills is beautiful and the snowfall we had overnight made the views from the inside of the house amazing.
