This was our first visit to Mirbeau, and we will look forward to our next opportunity to visit! The staff in the hotel, restaurant and spa were all excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and well designed and the fireplace made it extra cozy. The elegance of the resting room, Aqua Terrace, other complimentary amenities and quality of service make the spa facility and treatments top notch.

Every year I do a spa day at mirbeau with a group our travel agents put together. This spa is world class. The aqua terrace is amazing with their large hot tub, outdoor bar, and fireplace. You can even order off of their "aqua terrace" menu and be served in the hot tub!! The relaxation room is wonderful with cucumber water and green tea, lots of loungers, a foot spa, and beautiful renaissance style murals everywhere. My favorite however is the eucalyptus steam shower. The treatment rooms are state of the art. Have your treatment and waste away the rest of the day however you like. You can go upstairs and have lunch in your bathrobe or take one of their fitness/ yoga classes. They also have a fitness room full of equipment. This is bar none the best spa in the surrounding area!!!

Me and my wife decided to do a day at our local spa, big mistake. When we got there I was handed some dirty slippers to hold on to and was told they were out of clean robes. We went upstairs to have some wine and wait for clean ones. As I was enjoying a nice glass of wine I could not help but notice how dirty the floors were...after waiting over a hour we got our clean robes 5 minutes before our treatments. This was not all bad though because we found there was standing room only in the pool waiting area. During our massage I felt like I was being beat to hell. I had black and blue marks for days. Then we had dinner, they gave us a free cheese plate for our troubles. The meal was nice and the server was good. However this place does not live up to its reputation. Skip this place unless your just trying to be seen...

The facility is spectacular. The local town is beautiful. This is the third visit for me. The Inns rooms are wonderful. The spa itself is worth the trip, but the overall service is very poor(treatments not included). They just don't seem to have the extra needed to make this a 4 star type of spa. Perhaps lack of experienced management, or understaffed, it just doesn't click. We were left waiting for too many things too many times, simple things. The food is average, you could easily get a better meal down the road in town. Such a shame. Hopefully this is a bump in the road and better things are to come.
