this is an old 1950's motor court that has not been updated. The rooms are musty and the beds are extremely lumpy full size beds.
we only stayed here because there were no rooms in Cooperstown.

We stayed here for one night while we visited Cooperstown. What brought us here was the price--what prompted us to write this review was the condition of the rooms: not clean, broken window in bathroom, filthy blinds on windows, drab and dark condition of the room's furniture. We really hated to sleep in the bed, and probably should have left and found another place. Don't go there!

The motel is kept clean and is very quaint, just like the town its in. It is not modern(has wi-fi) but has been recently renovated. The service was very good and the management was very considerate, helpful, and knowledgeable of area. The rates were exceptionally good compared to what we found elsewhere, even with the other smaller places. The motel is in a central location to all attractions (college, howe cavern, cooperstown). Although it is approx a 20 min drive from cooperstown, the drive is easy and not that bad. Very glad we stayed. (Glad some of these reviews did'nt scare us away, I asked about the one, definately two sides to all.)

We recently stayed at the Budget Inn in Sharon Springs for the baseball induction ceremony weekend. This would typically be a $40/night motel, but the owner, who lives above the check-in desk, quadrupled the rates for the weekend. Additionally, when I checked my credit card statement, he added an extra charge for $200, which I am having to dispute. He is not trustworthy. Additionally, the motel is pretty gross. I would advise that you avoid at all costs!!!
