After finding no other vacancies in town, this not-so Super 8 was about all that was available. Where do I start... Large spider and webbing in bath, carpets very dirty and not vacuumed, bed speread very old and dirty, furnishings were cheap 1970s vintage. The bed sheets may have been clean but we did not take any chances and slept in our clothes. There was mold in the icebucket too! Need I say more? This place should be shut down!

All we needed was a clean and decent room for the night. We were gravely disappointed. I'm not a picky person and I've never written a bad review anywhere. But I feel compelled to warn others about the conditions of this place.

The first thing I noticed was how strangely small the room was. Barely enough room to walk around a single full size bed. Especially considering this was supposed to be a wheel chair accessible unit. I couldn't help but wonder how a person could possibly get into the bed from a wheel chair. Another thing that struck me as odd was the wheel chair accessible bathroom had a regular bath tub in it. Unless you are able to stand or step in and sit up on a stool in the shower, you would be out of luck there.

Then I noticed a very old and small television in a cabinet above the closet in the corner of the room. Next to it was some trash from the previous guest. I’ve been in hospital rooms much more comfortable than this room. There was an iron in the closet with no board. There was absolutely no place to put toiletries, curling irons, or anything like that. It was very difficult getting the two of us showered and groomed.

Now for the biggest horror of all. This is what prompted me to write this review at all. The comforter was not only stained, but I would be willing to bet it was a few years old and had never been washed. It had many stains from bodily fluids all over it, including feces! All else could have been forgiven if it weren’t for this obvious disregard for basic cleanliness.

Then around 7am the hallway was filled with non-stop loud conversation. I thought it must have been a cleaning crew with no regard for sleeping guests. I was surprised when we went out to get our continental breakfast to see that it was the front desk clerk chatting it up with other guests at a high volume. There wasn’t much to the breakfast. We had to ask for bagels. But it was okay. It was set up in another tiny unoccupied room which I thought was odd.

I will never go there again. You can pay the same for a clean and decent room many other places.

My wife & I stayed here for 1 night on 26 July & 2 Aug. We were travelling through NY State & needed a stopover hotel on our way to & from our destination. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy either stay. We would have stayed at another hotel on our return drive, but unfortunately, there was nothing available. The hotel has 2 floors, but no elevator. The rooms look vey much like college dorm rooms: rather small with built-in desks & cabinets. There are no desk lamps, only overhead fluorescent lights.

Good Points:

The breakfast had a very good selection: cereal (2), coffee, tea, milk, choc milk, juice (2) mini-muffins, cornbread, bagels, English muffins, yogurt, & fresh fruit. Although I am strictly a coffee & cereal person, I did enjoy many of the selections offered. The breakfast room is quite small, but you can use your room tray to take items back to your room.

We both enjoyed the massaging showerhead in the bathroom (most hotels only have a basic one).

Bad Points:

The old, worn out beds were absolutely terrible. On our 2nd stay, the beds were better than the first room, but they all need to be replaced.

We both found $87 rather high for a hotel in a remote area. The main reasons we chose this hotel was that it was conveniently located near the I-90 & from the reviews on this website. Although the hotel is located near the highway, there is nothing else nearby. It is many miles to a McD’s or BK, & at least a 20 min. drive to 2 malls. Also, I do not like to have to pay for the room up front.

Lack of cleanliness: The carpets need to be vacuumed more thoroughly & shampooed, as they were both filthy. Also, both the towels & bedspreads were stained.

The TV is located 6ft above the floor, atop the closet. The only was to watch it is reclined on the bed.

Lack of friendliness or courtesy of front desk staff. We both found the person working the front desk on both visits to be rather curt. The morning staff, on the other hand, was quite friendly.

Overall, we were both very disappointed with our stay. Next time, we’ll try the Days Inn.

We actually didn't end up staying here but did stop to find out if they had a room available. The Staff was very helpful. We were looking for a room with two double beds as we were traveling with two teenagers. Unfortunately, they only have rooms with either one bed or with two twin beds. The staff was very helpful in referring us to another hotel in the area.
