This hotel was excellent, especially the management staff. We forgot our clothes in the hotel room, the management staff called us right away and shipped the staff to us immidiately. The sauna and the swimming pool was very good after a long day skiing. Overall an excellent experience with this hotel. We really recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

We have stayed at the Howard Johnsons in Saugerties before and had a pleasant stay. This last time we stayed we had two separate rooms. The room my girlfriend had the refrigerator didn't work, then whe moved to different room. Then the new room had disgusting white nasty body fluid stains all over them, we complained and they said they would be changed, we came back that night and they were not!! So we complained again , this time they tried to clean them with a rag , needless to say the stains were not fully cleaned off still. Then I was supposed to get a wake up call in the morning and they didn't call me and I almost was late for a court date 50 minutes away! The last straw was when my girlfriend found a "BED BUG"! crawling on the bed next to her, she couldn't sleep the rest of the night and she found a white dead one down behind the bed with track marks from the bug on the sheet!!! The hotel told us that they were going to shut the whole hotel down and get an exterminator , come to find out they only shut down our two rooms and sprayed them, you can't tell me other rooms didn't have them. The best they did for us was give us 10% off on our rooms, I feel my girlfriends room at least should have been free!!! We went through hell when we got home worrying about those bed bugs and we even left our suit cases outside all night, because we didn't want to bring them home with us!! Needless to say I don't think we will be staying there again!!!

The hotel was wonderful and easy to access right off of the thruway. The rooms were nice and clean and the pool was at a good temperature.Its good value,we will stay again

The place was great and right off of the the highway. Eventhough it was so close the rooms were nice and quite. The rooms were clean and pool was nice aswell.
