We went to the Villa last fall to do some leaf peepin and to just get away from NYC. I found Aimee's (the owner) villa on line, and was impressed by the website. We headed up for the weekend, and also decided to schedule to have our photographer meet us there and take our engagement photos there, since she happened to be nearby visiting from California. We found the villa in the dark, but it was tricky! I would recommend arriving in the day time, as the woods are pretty dark at night. The place is so adorable! Our room was fantastic. It was large and airy, modern but with the old touches left in tact. The entire main house is decorated well, and has some great art (Aimee's ex did all the paintings and they are terrific). The bathroom has all the necessities you would need, and the room is internet ready. The next morning Aimee was cooking in the kitchen an amazing breakfast for all of us, everything was laid out perfectly. She really has done a fantastic job. She has really detailed info about the area, and was very personable and friendly. We went to some great restaurants and saw some beautiful scenery. We are planning on going back this summer to take advantage of the gorgeous pool, and more hiking. I highly recommend the villa, the grounds are gorgeous, Aimee is a great host, and it is a fantastic deal. I have posted some pics from the grounds we took. (sorry there aren't interiors, but these were actually for our engagement photos) You can at least see how nice the grounds are though!

This was the perfect get-away. The solace of the grounds was just what I needed. The B&B was clean, the service friendly and timely and the breakfast was great. Aimee, the manager/owner, coordinated everything with a professional yet friendly demeanor, giving more than adequate information regarding the area.

Not a smooth booking through their own website, it took a while to get the confirmation. The directions to the place are OK if you are not driving in the dark (Canine Country Club is NOT a big sign). Room was only OK. The room was not clean during our entire three days stay. Breakfast was fine. We had the feeling that Aimee, the owner, was a bit over her head at times.

This inn is very nice and very different from the ordinary B&B. If you are looking for a place with a sense of style, this is the place for you. I did however find the atmosphere to be a little “odd”. I never saw the other guests and the innkeeper wasn’t around for the first 2 days of my visit. There were beverages and food left for the guests, but the note in the kitchen explaining what charges applied to was very confusing. I almost got the sense that the innkeeper’s interest in the place had waned.
